UF Pi Delta Psi's Founder's Week 2012

The UF Sigma Chapter of Pi Delta Psi Fraternity Inc. is celebrating the 18th year anniversary since the founding of Pi Delta Psi with our Founders Week 2012. Everyone is invited to our whole week of events!

Date: Monday Febraury 13th – Rolls Around Asia Fundraiser
Location: Lollicup
Time:7:00PM – 9:00PM

ROLL ON OVER to Lollicup to try some authentic Asian food!

The ROLLS that will be present at this event are from the following countries:
China – Egg Rolls – Fried
Philippines / Indonesia – Lumpia
Vietnam – Summer Roll & Cha Gio

The Prices are as follows:
$5 – 6 Rolls (it'll be satisfying, but trust us, you'll want more)
$10 – 12 Rolls (perfect amount) =)

Every combo comes with a drink, so why wouldn't you come out?! BUT if you're still not full after this, be sure to purchase some boba tea from lollicup!!

Come by Turlington Plaza to where we are tabling to receive a FORTUNE in a RED ENVELOPE. Now these aren't just any fortunes, these ones are for sure to put a smile on your face while also making you feel loved. Let our fortunes brighten up your day and come see what it's all about!

Not only that, but we will be continuing our search for more bone marrow donors as we will be hosting a bone marrow drive at the same time! Come save a life

Location: Century Tower Bloodmobile
Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Donate some blood and get a Japanese HOROSCOPE with it! It is believed in Japanese culture that your personality is dependent on your blood type. SO COME FIND OUT WHAT PERSONALITY YOU ARE by giving some blood!!

Location: North Lawn / Reitz Colonnade
Time: 6:00PM - 8:00 PM

We will have a decked out set up of TV screens and game consoles ranging for PS3 TO XBOX 360 TO EVEN THE WII. There will even be tournament for games such as MARVEL VS. CAPCOM and SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL.

Not only will we be playing video games, but you can bring board games, playing cards, GAMING Cards (yes that means YUGIOH, MAGIC etc.) Just come out and have some fun!

Be The Match: Bone Marrow Drive for Timothy
Part 1: Co-hosted with Delta Epsilon Psi Fraternity Inc.

Location: Reitz Union Colonnade
Time: 10:00 AM-3:00 PM

Description: Come show support for Timothy Song who is in need of bone marrow donors. Timothy, was diagnosed with CGD (chronic granulomatous disease) at 2 months of age. It's a rare primary immunodeficiency disease. He is unable to fight off common everyday infections on his own. The only cure for this disease is a bone marrow or cord blood transplant. He is on prophylaxis: 2 types of antibiotics and immune boosting shots. Without it, Timothy would suffer from life threatening infections.This bone marrow drive gives us the opportunity to change his life!!!

BE THE ONE TO SAVE A LIFE!!!

March of Dimes Philanthropy

The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Please bring any change or donations you have for the them. We will be giving you special treats such as candy and others in return.

Children of Vietnam Forum and Donation
AND Social at Lollicup Afterwards!!

Description: Heard about Children of Vietnam (COV)? Wanna learn more about it? Then come out to this children of Vietnam forum co-hosted with UF's very own Vietnamese Student Organization!! Not only will you be learning about COV, but this is also an opportunity for you to give back, because this event is where we will also be accepting donations. All donations will go to COV and can include:

*Toothbrushes
*Children's Clothes
*Children's Books
*And all toiletries
*Etc.

So come out and show your support as we put on this event for all these children. BUT WAIT!! There's more! Right after the forum, we'll be heading out to Lollicup for a social with VSO. Donations will still be accepted there and a percentage of what Lollicup makes will go straight back to COV. Don't miss out!!
